Secure. Efficient. End-to-End Cargo Handling.
At MY Indo Airlines, we manage every stage of your cargo journey with precision — from the moment your shipment is booked, screened, secured, stored, and loaded, until it is airborne and delivered to the next handling point. Our process follows strict security regulations, international cargo standards, and real-time digital tracking to ensure your goods move safely and efficiently.
Our Cargo Flow Process
1. Customer Booking & Documentation
Your cargo journey begins when the customer (shipper or freight forwarder) submits a shipment through our Booking System.
We ensure:
- Complete shipment details (commodity, weight, volume, special handling)
- Proper documentation (AWB, invoice, packing list, MSDS if required)
- Booking confirmation through our digital platform
- Allocation of space on the requested flight
Our system assigns an Air Waybill (AWB) number, enabling immediate tracking across the entire journey.
2. Regulated Agent (RA) Security Screening
All cargo destined for MY Indo Airlines must first pass through a certified Regulated Agent (RA) — a security partner approved under aviation security regulations.
The RA is responsible for:
- X-ray screening of all cargo
- Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) for sensitive shipments
- Physical inspection if required
- Cargo acceptance verification
- Issuing the Security Clearance Stamp or electronic clearance
- Ensuring goods are “Safe to Load” (STL)
This ensures that every shipment we accept is compliant with national and international aviation security requirements.
3. Transit to Airline-Approved Cargo Warehouse
After passing RA screening, the cargo is transferred to the MY Indo Airlines–appointed cargo warehouse, where it undergoes the next stage of handling:
Warehouse responsibilities include:
- Check-in of cargo against the AWB
- Weighing and dimension verification
- Storage at temperature-controlled or secure zones as required
- Special handling for perishables, pharma, DG, or high-value cargo
- Consolidation of shipments by flight and destination
- Building ULDs or preparing palletized/bulk cargo
- Final security checks before transfer to ramp handling
All cargo movement in the warehouse is scanned into the system for real-time visibility.
4. Safety, Security & Compliance Controls
Security is at the center of our cargo operations. We implement:
- Regulated Agent compliance for every shipment
- Independent airline security validation at the warehouse
- ULD security sealing and integrity checks
- Secure storage areas for high-value or restricted cargo
- Strict access control and surveillance in handling zones
- Compliance with ICAO, DGCA, and airport regulations
- Verified Gross Mass (VGM) and weight balance checks
Every shipment must be 100% secured, screened, and documented before we accept it for loading.
5. Aircraft Loading & Departure
Once cleared, cargo is transported from the warehouse to the aircraft under secure escort.
At the aircraft, our team performs:
- Physical verification
- Cargo positioning for weight & balance
- Securing with nets, locks, or ULD restraints
- Temperature or special cargo checks
- Final match against load sheet and manifests
- Confirmation into the departure system
Only after all steps pass QA and safety checks is the cargo declared ready for flight.
